It has a strong national network, industry links to markets, production expertise, and access to leading agribusiness and farm supply brands. Elders provides holistic solutions to agribusiness needs and has recently established the Thomas Elder Institute, which is a new flagship research and development arm that will focus on partnering with industry bodies, research institutions and commercial supply partners to engage the broader Elders network (Staff and clientele) with industry development initiatives and commercialisation of new technologies. Ever increasingly, private sector advisors are seen as the key source of information for producers, and the Thomas Elder Institute aims to formalise the process by which that occurs between the Elders advisory network and the agricultural industry.
