Liam Carlin-Incoll

Soils and lab technician

Liam is a soil technician for the ARC Hub for smart fertilisers. He began his work as a technician shortly after graduating from the University of Melbourne with a ‘Masters of Agricultural Science’ at the end of 2022.

His role involves working closely with Themes 3 and 4, carrying out soil incubation and work in the field. More specifically, Liam tests products developed by Themes 1 and 2 to determine their efficacy in controlling the release of nitrogen. Liam enjoys his role in the hub and is looking forward to assisting with glass house and field trials. He is always building on his knowledge, taking the opportunity to learn from his colleagues who are experienced in a variety of fields. Liam finds fulfillment in his role in the Hub, as he helps contribute to working towards a more sustainable future in agriculture.
