University of Melbourne – Science Festival 2024 Recap

Recently, the ARC Hub for Smart Fertilisers hosted a booth at the University of Melbourne’s 10th Annual Science Festival, organised by the Faculty of Science at the Science Gallery Melbourne.

At the event,  approximately 100 university staff and graduate students including researchers from our Hub presented their latest discoveries, emerging technologies, and innovative educational tools through interactive displays. See images below at our Hub’s display at the festival

Professor Todd Lane, Deputy Dean of Science, noted that the Expo—returning for a second year due to popular demand—was designed to make cutting-edge research accessible and engaging for people aged 10 and older.

Dr. Zahra Islam, Carl Pille, and Ella Williams represented The Hub at the event, and did an excellent job sharing our research to a diverse audience.
