PhD in Chemical Engineering and Material Science

We are offering PhD scholarships in chemical engineering and material science to work with Prof. Frank Caruso and A/Prof. Kathryn Mumford on developing engineered coatings for fertiliser products.

We are seeking high achieving students with a four-year Bachelor, Honours or Master’s degree with an interest in a wide range of disciplines and topic areas.  PhD candidature will be based in a the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Melbourne and will collaborate across all disciplines within the Hub.

While not required, experience working in a related field or/and conducting research, particularly in industry, will be highly regarded.

Each PhD scholarship is $33,000 for 3.5 years with funding to support research activities and opportunities to apply for additional funding.
