PhD scholarships in agricultural economics
The Hub has two PhD scholarships available for study in the area of agricultural economics, resource economics and agricultural value chain economics.
The Agricultural Economics Group in the School of Agriculture and Food, University of Melbourne is a part of the ARC Research Hub for Smart Fertilisers and has on offer two PhD scholarships focused on:
• Social benefits and costs of nitrogenous fertilizers including analysis of policy measures
• Economic analysis of innovation in the fertilizer value chain
We are seeking high achieving students with a four-year Bachelor, Honours or Master’s degree with an interest in agricultural economics, resource economics and agribusiness economics. While not required, experience working in a related field or/and conducting research, particularly in industry, will be highly regarded.
Each PhD scholarship is $33,000 for 3.5 years with funding to support research activities and opportunities to apply for additional funding.
